We have secured room blocks and/or discounted rates at the inns and hotels listed below. Room availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Airbnb and VRBO are also wonderful options for your stay. There are many in close proximity to Farm Road Estate.

The end of October is a beautiful, yet popular time for visitors in Vermont. We highly suggest booking your accommodations as soon as possible.

Shuttle transportation to and from Farm Road Estate will be provided for the wedding. The shuttle will be making multiple stops along Route 100. Cab service is available for those who choose to stay off the main shuttle route, as well as for other times throughout your stay. More details will be added about both of these options as the wedding approaches.

Mount Snow Grand Summit Resort

The Mount Snow Grand Summit Resort is located on Route 100—just over three miles from Farm Road Estate. Book your discounted room online, or call (855) 948-0698 and mention the Pohl/Williamson Wedding SA or the code: SSNPOH26. There is no minimum stay requirement.

This is a great option for those who would like to enjoy outdoor activities during their stay!

Chalet 239

Chalet 239 is located on Route 100—just over a mile from Farm Road Estate. Book your discounted room online, or visit Chalet 239 and click "Book Now" using the code: pohlwilliamson. Both options will only show availability for 10/23/26 and 10/24/26. You may book one or two nights under this room block. Please book by October 1, 2026 to secure this rate.‍

The booking policy for Chalet 239 is as follows:

No payment is required at the time of booking.
A one-night deposit will be charged on October 1st, which will be a nonrefundable deposit.
The remaining balance (if booked more than one night) will be charged 3 days prior to arrival (Oct 20th), which then becomes nonrefundable.

Snow Goose Inn

The Snow Goose Inn is located on Route 100—just over a mile from Farm Road Estate. To book a room, call (802) 464-8860 and mention the Pohl/Williamson Wedding. At this time you cannot book online.‍

‍This inn requires a 2-night stay (10/23/26 and 10/24/26). A 10% discount will be applied to your room rate at checkout.

Other lodging

Nearby hotels and inns on Route 100 to consider for your stay are: West Dover Inn, Doveberry Inn, Deerfield Valley Inn, The Inn at Mount Snow, and Deerhill Inn. The White House Inn and The Vermont House are two options in Wilmington, however they will not be on the shuttle route.

Flying

If you are flying from out of town, we suggest one of the following airports:

Albany International Airport in Albany, NY is a 1.5 hour drive to Farm Road Estate.
Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT is a 1 hour and 50 minute drive to Farm Road Estate.
Boston Logan International Airport in Boston, MA is a 2.5 hour drive to Farm Road Estate (you will likely find the most direct flights into Logan).

For traveling up to West Dover from the airport, we suggest renting a car (TURO is a great option!) or coordinating a ride up with a local friend or family member!

Trains

The Vermonter train starts in Washington, DC with many stops along the way, including Philadelphia, NYC, and Boston. The closest stop to West Dover is Brattleboro—a 35 minute car ride to Farm Road Estate.

Driving

Driving is the most convenient way to get to West Dover. If this is an option for you, we suggest choosing to drive as your sole mode of transportation.

Cars will be your best mode of transportation, if possible, during the weekend. Local cab service will be available if needed. Please note, Uber and Lyft are not widely available in southern Vermont. Details and ride requesting instructions are forthcoming.

Outdoors

Pickleball at Farm Road Riverside

Enjoy pickle ball?? There will be 4 courts available from 8am-11am on Saturday morning for those who would like some friendly competition to kick off the wedding day! There will be paddles and balls available, but if you have your own paddle, feel free to bring it!

Farm Road Estate

There are two miles of hiking trails on the property, with access points to the Valley Trail and Horace Hill Recreation Area. For maps and directions, ask the front desk.

They also have two ponds on the property. You’ll find canoes and kayaks with life jackets and paddles on the shores of the north pond. If you’d like to fish, you can borrow a fishing pole from the front desk and fish in either of the ponds.

Mount Snow

For a great beginner hike, check out the Cross-Country Base Loop or a leisurely walk up the Mount Snow Trail to the summit. See the trail map for details.

Haystack Mountain Trail

This moderate to difficult trail is ~3 hours (round trip) and offers incredible scenic views of New Hampshire, Southern Vermont, and Massachusetts. If you have questions, see the Farm Road Estate front desk.

Wilmington Town Trails

The town of Wilmington has numerous scenic walking and hiking trails.

Jamaica State Park

This state park has over 5 miles of walking trails.

Maple creemees are a Vermont staple! Think extra thick soft serve. A favorite seasonal spot of Sarah and Greg’s. Fingers crossed it remains open through the wedding weekend!

Modern American eatery offering seasonal dishes, a full bar and live music.

Will there be transportation provided?

Welcome Party

Transportation will not be provided. Parking is available at Farm Road Riverside. We suggest carpooling with a designated driver to ensure as many guests as possible are able to park.

For those who prefer not to drive, Valley Cab Services and Mount Snow Taxi will be available. Uber and Lyft are not widely available in the area. Details and ride requesting instructions are forthcoming.

What will the weather be like?

Temperatures in West Dover, VT can vary significantly in October. It can range from highs in the upper 40s to mid-60s and lows in the high 20s to mid-40s. We suggest bringing layers, especially for the evenings!

What do the dress codes mean?

Welcome Party - Dressy Casual

Button-down shirts, sweaters or blouses, jeans or slacks, casual dresses, etc.

We will be celebrating indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) - layers are recommended!

Wedding - Festive Cocktail

Cocktail Attire with a twist! We want you to feel comfortable and celebrate with us in style.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception will be held in a heated tent.

Guests in dresses: Mid or full length dresses. Fun colors, patterns, and styles are encouraged! Vermont evenings in October tend to get chilly. We recommend bringing a layer for the ceremony (think a chic jacket, wrap, or faux fur or fur if you own one–we don’t judge) to stay cozy! You will need to walk on grass for the ceremony, so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear. The reception will have a hard floor.
Guests in suits: Funky ties/bowties and button downs are encouraged!

Most importantly, dress in what makes you feel great!

Are kids invited?

Aside from a few family little ones, the wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you are still able to join us, but we understand if this means you are unable to attend.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests included on the formal wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!
